Every Friday, I have a reoccurring calendar appointment to remind me to express gratitude for those who kindly impacted me during the week. “Thank You Friday” is something a mentor once inspired me to start, and I’ve been trying to do so consistently ever since. This blog entry will share three of my favorite resources to send thank you notes to clients, partners, and others.
Shutterfly Postcards
This is a quick and easy way to send a note of appreciation. For mine, I uploaded a photo of the Las Vegas Neon Museum. You can order a batch of these where you have your pre-printed return address, website, and contact details imported as an image file. This size is also a great option because postcard stamps are less expensive than regular postage. Learn more about Shutterfly here.
Felt
A creative and sure-to-please thank you card, Felt is my new favorite tool to show appreciation. Download the Felt app here and create lovely accordion-fold cards. Felt offers an annual prepaid plan, and I have three cards per month through my subscription. One of my clients liked the thank you note I sent her so much that she sent me one in return!
Postagram
This postcard-sized option includes perforated lines where your recipient can pop out a square-sized graphic or photo. Postagram easily connects to your Instagram account and is an excellent way to send a fun memory and gratitude. The app also offers a prepaid limit of cards; you can download it here.
I hope these ideas are a helpful inspiration for you to begin your own Thank You Friday, and I appreciate YOU for reading this blog post. Please comment below if you use one of these suggestions or let me know how you show gratitude.
